Hi! Was out bloghopping. Nice journal!!

Last night, admittedly after a hot toddy or three, I started trying to find versions of A Christmas Carol I could watch for free on the web. Even with a gazillion cable channels, I’d only seen one version (George C. Scott) this year. After watching the 1938 AND the 1951 versions (and after a few more toddies) I stumbled across some excerpts from the 2004 musical version with Kelsey Grammar, which I didn’t see at the time. For some reason, I had it in my head that it wasn’t a very good version, but if the excerpts of musical numbers I saw on YouTube are any indication, I was wrong.
Anyway, I promise future greetings will be my usual snarky fare, but the following video actually made me tear up a bit. Okay, so the rum may have had something to do with it. But it’s okay to be a sentimental sap around the holidays, don’t you think?
